Pilkington Activ™ Self-Cleaning Glass

Pilkington Activ™ Self-Cleaning Glass is an innovative concept that takes the hassle out of keeping your conservatory glass clean. Solely reliant on the natural elements, the self-cleaning glass incorporates a special coating, which interacts with UV rays to break down organic dirt. When it rains, the dirt is washed from off the glass. Because of its quick drying-nature, the glass is not left streaky and unsightly, but is clean and shiny with no input from you.

It uses UV from daylight and rainwater to break down and wash away organic dirt from exterior surfaces, making it ideal for hard to reach places that are difficult to clean. Its blue colour also helps keep internal temperatures cooler whilst still maintaining excellent light transmittance. For optimum self-cleaning and thermal performance, combine Pilkington Activ™ Blue with Pilkington K Glass™ or Pilkington Optitherm™ SN in an insulating glass unit
